During WWII there were many tragic events. Many people back then and now wished this event never happened because it was so cruel. This event was called The Holocaust. The holocaust was a very upsetting thing because Jews were being killed. The cruelest part was where they ´ d kill the elderly people or the disabled right away.
We could have avoided World War I if the countries had agreed to sign the fourteen points instead of the Treaty of Versailles. In Germany, this resulted in less resentment. It could have helped to mitigate the effects of the Great Depression. It could also have aided in keeping a closer eye on Hitler.
